A U.S. lawmaker has accused Davos of failing to salute the Ukrainian leader in a speech and leave the room.

China has accused US Congressman Michael McCall of distorting information after a Beijing delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos refused to applaud a speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and left the room unreservedly.

During a live appearance on CNN on Monday, McCall showed a picture of Chinese delegates seated while the rest of the audience stood and congratulated Zelensky, who addressed the event via a video link.
