North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has condemned his country’s response to the first officially confirmed COVID-19 outbreak as “immature”, accusing government officials of inadequacy and inaction because of the country’s fever, state media reported Wednesday.
North Korea reported 232,880 more people with symptoms of fever and six more died after being admitted to the country for the first time last week. It was not immediately clear how many people tested positive for COVID-19.
