The Orange County Sheriff’s Department said gunmen opened fire at a church in Laguna Woods, California, injuring several people.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a Geneva Presbyterian church on El Toro Road at around 1:27 p.m. local time. There were large numbers of Taiwanese congregations inside the church, and the attacker was identified as an Asian man in his 60s who was apparently not part of the community.
Authorities have not shared information about possible motives at this stage as law enforcement officials continue their investigation.
The incident comes a day after a mass shooting in New York State that left 10 people dead and three injured after an 18-year-old gunman opened fire at a supermarket in Buffalo. The authorities called it a “Hate Crime” And “Racially motivated violent extremism” Because most of the victims are black.
