The family of an 11-year-old girl who survived the Holocaust at Rob Elementary School in Texas says a fourth-grader died after a gunman entered her classroom. They did, however, mention that student Mia Cerillo was struggling to cope with the shots and was telling them what she had seen during the shooting.
“My sister-in-law says she saw her friend covered in blood, and she got blood on her body,” Mrs Cerillo’s aunt, Blanca, told Rivera Station. CPC.

Ms Rivera added that on the night of the shooting, she received a phone call from her niece’s mother stating that she was carrying out a “panic attack”, as reported. New York Post.

Meanwhile, Texas police on Thursday faced angry questions as to why it took an hour to neutralize the gunman who killed 19 young children and two teachers in Uvalade, as frustrated parents released a video of officers begging to storm the school.
In one, a nearly seven-minute clip posted on YouTube shows police waiting outside, shouting at police in an attempt to keep parents away from Rob Elementary School.
“This is my daughter!” A woman’s screams can be heard in the chaotic scene of crying and shaking.

The gunman was 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, who has been bullied in history. On Tuesday, he entered the school and shot dead students and teachers with an assault rifle.
After shooting his own grandmother, Ramos crashed his car near the school, then fired at the audience before entering through a door that was apparently open.
Officers left a few minutes later, but were stopped by gunfire and called for a backup. The gunman was killed about an hour after a tactical team, including a U.S. border patrol agent, entered, AFP reported.
